Nasal & Breathing Problems

Nasal and breathing problems may result from allergies and inflammation, structural problems within the nose, or a combination of both. Structural causes can include a deviated nasal septum, enlarged turbinates and narrowing or collapse of the nasal valves.

Nasenmax provides specialist evaluation to identify the underlying cause, including nasal endoscopy and allergy testing where appropriate, followed by medical or surgical treatment according to the individual condition.

Advanced Nasal Surgery

Nasal surgery may be required to address structural problems affecting breathing, nasal shape, or both. With a background in both ENT and facial plastic surgery, Dr Eugene Wong approaches nasal surgery with consideration for both function and appearance.

Surgery includes:

Functional Nasal Surgery: Surgery to address structural causes of nasal obstruction, including complex septal deviation, inferior turbinate hypertrophy and nasal valve narrowing or collapse.
Primary Rhinoplasty: Individualised rhinoplasty to reshape the nose while taking into account facial proportions, nasal structure and breathing function.
Revision Rhinoplasty: Corrective surgery following previous rhinoplasty or other nasal procedures, including previous alloplastic implants, nasal threads or fillers.
Nasal Reconstruction: Reconstructive surgery for complex structural nasal problems, including saddle nose deformity, post-traumatic nasal deformity, loss of nasal support and septal perforation repair.

General ENT

In addition to specialist nasal care, Nasenmax provides comprehensive care for other ENT conditions in adults and children.

Ear & Hearing: Assessment and treatment of ear and hearing concerns, including ear discomfort, blocked ears, hearing loss, tinnitus, ear infections and dizziness.
Throat & Voice: Assessment and treatment of throat and voice concerns, including persistent throat discomfort, voice changes and swallowing difficulties.
